the can festival will be held on november 27/28 this year in the "volksbuehne" theater in berlin. we are not so sure if this event will be repeated also in cologne. as to what i know, michael karoli wants to play with with the damo suzuki network, jaki liebezeit of course with his "club of chaos" and irmin schmidt seems to go for his new composed opera "ghormengast". and i am sitting in my studio getting prepared finishing the main tracks together with gvoon. i am always getting nervous having too many guests around, but the scottish writer alan warner (movern caller...plus) has announced to be with the party, getting a face tracker on his head and hopefully we'll meet in september in cologne to talk things through with special made coktails. u-she is preparing all videos which get integrated into our VRML journeys, the sounding chat system, live...i like to get the event done like a scientific program together with an adequate amount of entertainment. this all needs lots of computer power and a 7 months preparation of the necessary software and general organisation. have never done something like that before.

though the ordercatalogue got activated with just one video on the list i find myself in difficulties to make payments easier. i did not know that it is so difficult paying by creditcard on the web here. never mind, the problem will be solved.

for the first time i have downloaded all chats going on for about one year now. i makes about 1.500 pages which have to get edited and published as a little chat booklet for a trailor start. by downloading these coversations i am aware for the first time of the chats while i was sleeping or working. and that's sometimes fascinating as sometimes real fights were going on and i am happy that this happens on this site. the new chat sytem is a java based one, but this one i like much more as it is also functioning as a graffitty wall where people can leave messages going through all the chatrooms. so communication is guaranteed even when we are not synchronized - time wise.

and finally i will look to all the emails concerning the competition which finished end of july. the most suiting titles for the gvoon videos will be "honored" with a rare 12 inch single of "cool in the pool" and "persian love" on the b-side. I'll let you know the winners soon.
